Did you know that Bow Cliff offers Senior Yoga?
Bow Cliff Center is offering a gentle introduction to yoga class this fall! This helps you understand how to move and stretch in a way that is safe and most beneficial to you and your body. Diane teaches you a few basic principles of yoga that you can carry with you into any class. For those with experience it is your opportunity to go deeper into yourself.
For those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor you can now enjoy the traditional aspects of yoga in a seated or chair supported standing adaptations of many poses to improve balance, joint mobility, breath awareness and flexibility. Basic experience and knowledge of yoga is not required.
Yoga is a great way to keep yourself feeling vibrant and healthy as you age. Yoga has no age limit. In fact, older adults have the most to gain by engaging in safe and mindful movement practices, relaxation, and meditation.
Please join us for Senior Yoga at Bow Cliff for a free class on Monday September 20 11:00-Noon. This class we can use chairs for support. You do not have to get down onto your mat, the chair becomes our mat. If you would like to be on the floor on your mat this class is for you as well.
